An Indian industrial paint company increases agility for its dealers with a custom mobile application developed by Maventic.

About Client

The client is a subsidiary of an Osaka-based chemical company and the largest industrial paint company in India. It develops and supplies decorative, automotive and industrial coatings.

Business Scenario

Before partnering with Maventic, the client relied on a web-based portal for its dealers to enable them to see information like invoices, product offers and pending payments that were critical to the business.

Challenges

This web-based portal presented the following challenges:

  • Was not user-friendly
  • Often displayed limited information
  • Lacked an online payment feature
  • Lacked mobile functionality, which prevented the dealers from taking advantage of business-critical data when they were on the field

Solution

The client decided that the best course of action was to develop a mobile application for its dealers for greater agility.
After evaluating a few SAP mobile development partners, the client selected Maventic’s proposal to develop this mobile application for dealers using Hybrid Android and iOS, SAP PI/PO, Razorpay Payment Gateway and SAP ERP.
