The client is a European retailer with a significant market share in high-end clothing in the Indian market.

Business Scenario
The client uses several SAP solutions like SAP ECC, SAP PI/PO, SAP CAR, and SAP BW as primary solutions for operations. As part of the future road map and adopting new functionalities, the company planned to upgrade the whole SAP landscape to the latest available releases.

Project Detail
The project included upgrading the latest release for SAP CAR, SAP BW on HANA, and SAP PI/PO system.

SAP CAR was upgraded from CAR 1.0 to CAR 4.0. This was challenging as the direct upgrade from CAR 1.0 to CAR 4.0 was impossible. So this upgrade was done in multiple steps from CAR 1.0 to CAR 2.0 and then CAR 2.0 to CAR 3.0.
SAP BW on HANA upgrade from NetWeaver 7.4 to 7.5 and HANA 1.0 to HANA 2.0
SAP PI/PO - Basis Split of PI Dual Stack to Single stack. Basis upgrade SAP PI Netweaver 7.4 SP23 Java Stack to Netweaver 7.5 SP17 Java Stack.
HANA DB Split - The customer used a single HANA DB for SAP CAR and BW. As part of this project, we have split HANA DB for CAR and BW for all system landscapes.
