Analytical solution that turned data into actionable insights for a global manufacturing company

The customer has different companies in different geographical locations. Each of these locations maintained their own systems. They do not have a single point of view on business data like sales, inventory etc. They were using SAP BW and IBM Cognos as an analytical tool but only for selected companies. The customer decided to move to a single platform to collate data from across all regions for better informed decision making

Solution:

Maventic used SAP BW on HANA WITH BI based Dashboards and web intelligence/advanced analytics reports. The customer warehouse was migrated to SAP BW on HANA. A highlight of the solution was the Sales Cockpit provided a 360-degree view of the sales performance and analyze KPI’s on a worldwide scale. Additionally, Maventic implemented a “Digital Lake” solution to collect data from various sources and help business teams analyze and take better informed decisions. Another highlight was that the seamless performance of the BO solution which had over 400 concurrent users.

Project Duration:

6 month of implementation followed by continuous support and enhancements on SAP BW and BO from 2014 June to till now
